Adorable set with plenty of different colored play dough and extra gadgets to attract little discoverers. My son has trouble pushing the head down to grow the hair on the monkey but loves using play dough scissors (purchased separately) to cut each strand. I showed him how to mold the dough into the little icons located around the base of the monkey. There are things like butterflies, flowers, bananas, etc. He likes mixing the dough colors to make different looking things. The tail-push, cymbol clap action is a cute idea but tough for an almost 3-year-old (age IS recommended for 3 & up)...we take off the cymbols and imprint the dough while it is on the table.
