We got these for my 6 year old DD and my 4 year old son. They like to fight with them and really do enjoy playing with them until someone actually gets hit!
Not to sound like a whiner but these really do sting quite abit. Ask me how I know! And I'm the type that doesn't complain about a little pain..I liken getting hit with these crisply to getting a nice rattail from a kitchen towel.
The foam is also not holding up too well. To me these are essentially plastic beating rods and you may as well hold off and just get a couple of wrapping paper rolls for the kids to swordfight with. At least those don't leave welts.Get more detail about Nerf N-Force Sword - Shadow Fury Blue.
