My 5 year old received this for his birthday last year and it was a big hit. The boys have made "lucky fishing lures" for their dad and uncle to take on their fishing trips. It is one of those toys that is played with for a couple of hours one day and then put in the closet and pulled out again in a few weeks and the fun starts all over again.
