The feeling of these action figures is very different that the feel when they were still made in America with a higher quality plastic. They are obviously made much cheaper now, which I'm sure was the whole point...however the product really does show the cheapness.
My 7 year old loves GI Joe and spends hours setting up zones all down the hall in every doorway. He has several, some were my 14 year old sons from 10 years ago and the new ones have already started to break beyond repair. At least there were 5, maybe 1 or 2 will make it.
My boys are not rough with their toys at all - the little one will even wipe them off before putting them away if they get dusty - so it's not an issue that he is too hard on them.
If your buying this for your children to truly play with them, just be aware that they are not super sturdy, but I'm sure they will get enjoyment from them. Too bad we had to send even our most loved American Hero to China...it shows.Get more detail about Hasbro GI Joe 25th Anniversary Joe 5-Pack.
